Yamaha R6 (2006-2016' and 2017'+) Rear Quick Change Kit

The Fast Frank Racing Rear Quick Change Kit for the Yamaha R6 has been designed for faster, easier, and more secure wheel changes — built to perform at the highest levels of competition.

Kit Components

  1. 17-4 Stainless Steel Left-Handed (CNC-Machined) Axle

  2. Captive Custom Left-Handed Axle Nut 

  3. Lightech Chain Adjusters  (custom adjusters for the 06-16')

  4. Axle Pull Cup

  5. Captive Caliper Bracket (or optional Underslung Caliper Bracket)

  6. Detachable Axle Guides

Optional Upgrade – Underslung Caliper Bracket

For even faster wheel changes, choose our Underslung Caliper Bracket, which uses the stock brake caliper and enhances accessibility during pit stops. (Underslung has a built in brake side wheel ramp)
This bracket requires a longer brake line (available separately or you can supply your own).

TRS Transport-Ready

This kit is fully compatible with the Pit Bull TRS (Trailer Restraint System).
When used with our optional TRS pins (available separately), the LH axle with detachable axle guides allows you to secure your bike in the restraint system without reinstalling the OEM axle for transport.


If you do not have detachable axle guides, please contact us for options to upgrade your kit to the most up-to-date configuration.

FAST FRANK RACING YAMAHA R6 17'+ REAR QUICK CHANGE KIT

The underslung kit does not come with a brake line, it must be added separately

"World Super Sport Legal"

This kit Comes with  Lightech chain adjusters,  CNC machined axle with L/H threads, 

stock captive caliper bracket, captive axle sleeve nut,and  axle pull cup

We do have an optional left side wheel guide and under mount rear caliper bracket available that makes the wheel change easier and faster and is  " Legal in the Moto America Daytona 200 "

For Maximum results you will want to purchase captive wheel spacers and 

GP style rear stand Lifters.

The pull cup is available in Red, Blue, Silver or Black

If  you are using a Pitbull trailer restraint system it will work with this quick change axle, but You will need to order a specific set from Pitbull, Use Part #309-V4

 

FAST FRANK RACING YAMAHA R6 06-16' REAR WHEEL QUICK CHANGE KIT

IF YOU HAVE LIGHTECHS WE CAN MACHINE THEM TO BE CAPTIVE

This kit features a CNC machined Billet axle,  kit will come with a CNC machined axle, captive caliper Bracket, captive axle nut, axle pull cup and chain holder tab.  Made in the USA.

The pull cup is available in Red, Blue, Silver or Black

"Axles are CRN coated"  CRN is a very hard and slick surface.

For Maximum results you will also want to purchase captive wheel spacers 

and our "GP style Lifters" that also hold the wheel in place when axle is removed, 

with the complete kit wheel changes can be done in 20 seconds or less.
